Youth Ministry

The purpose of the UMYF (United Methodist Youth Fellowship) student ministry is the same as the mission, vision, and journey of our church, with a special emphasis on providing a fun and relevant ministry to students in 6th – 12th grade. Through Bible study, outreach events, and fun activities, the youth of our church are given many opportunities for personal and spiritual growth.

Youth Sunday School

  • Any student in grade 6-12 is welcome to attend the youth Sunday school class immediately following the worship service. This provides an opportunity to begin the week with a meaningful time of Bible study, discussion, and fellowship.

Youth Group Fellowship

  • Wednesday nights are an exciting time for our youth who come together for dinner, Bible study, and a time of fun and fellowship. Everyone is welcome as we meet together in the Youth Room at 6:00 PM.

Studio 133

  • On Sunday mornings, you will find most of our youth helping out with Studio 133. Under the leadership of Darrell Sutton, many of our young men and women have learned media and technology ministries and have stepped up into vital leadership and supporting roles. On any given Sunday, you will find members of our youth group manning the cameras, working the audio/visual computers, or supporting online ministries.

Outreach Events

  • Whether helping with our church festivals or aiding local missions, the youth play an important role in supporting the ministries of our church. Without our their valuable help, many of our events and programs would not be as successful.

If you would like more information about our youth ministries, please contact the office at office@christumcnn.org.
