Children’s Ministry

The children’s ministry at Christ UMC welcomes all children from birth through 5th grade. A committed group of volunteers work each week to provide meaningful opportunities for children to learn and grow in a fun and safe environment. Through relevant and meaningful programs, it is our desire to see children and their families grow together on their journey to know, love, and serve Jesus Christ.

Children’s Worship

We welcome our children into service, allowing them to experience the joys of singing and a time of prayer prior to a children’s message. For communion Sunday they stay in the service, but for the other Sundays in the month they are released after the children’s message to learn more about Jesus through our Deep Blue program. Deep Blue is a wonderful time of music, video, crafts and snacks as the kids travel through the bible becoming disciples of Christ. Click here to learn more about Deep Blue.

Nursery

Our nursery program provides a safe and caring environment for babies and infants. Here they are not only cared for by our skilled nursery attendant, but they are introduced to age-appropriate biblical principles.

Vacation Bible School

Every summer, our church hosts a fun and engaging week-long Vacation Bible School for local children. Through worship, Bible lessons, songs, crafts, and refreshments, these children are able to have an evening filled with fun, learning, and Christian growth.
